Nothing is really hard if you set your mind in it to learn, setting a car in motion is a skill as germane as learning how to do any other important things.
Now as I take you on an explicit theoretical ride, I want you to give your mind a free lift, and after learning the basics, you and I would know for sure that you can do it.
I learnt how to drive a car before I clocked 18 and I can tell you that the first time you move that car, you would feel this excitement in you, you feel big, you feel like if I can drive a car, I can do anything good.
   Here,  are a few things worth considering before you begin your journey in the school of driving :
1. THE CAR : Your car must be sound, you sure won't enjoy learning if it has a fault,  so don't try learning with a grounded car, or an old rickety car.  I also advice you learn with a car having manual gear stick/lever.
2. THE ENVIRONMENT : It is very essential that you go to an open field or an open free-of-traffic road before you try anything out, Reason is: you probably don't know how to really control that car and you wouldn't want to run into anything yet by mistake, you wouldn't want to bash your car against a pole or wall.
3. YOUR CONFIDENCE : Let go of fear or anxiety and relax, if people can drive then you can! All it may take is Time and Practice
   That's why I have written this as explicitly as I can, just so you can do it right.
   I believe you are now ready to practice ;
PART ONE ; SURVEY :

First, get in the car, take a look at the foot area of the driver's seat, If it's a manual car, you will find out that it has three(3)pedals of nearly discrepant sizes.
